OptiSwitch Technology Corporation is proud to announce the availability of two new ultra compact pulsed laser diode drivers for man-portable target designation, rangefinding, illumination, and remote sensing: the PLDD-200-1-1 and the
PLDD-300-1-20.

The PLDD-200-1-1 is an ultra miniature driver that delivers 200 amps peak current into a single laser diode bar with a maximum pulsewidth of 300µs at 1 Hz. Weighing only 22 grams and measuring 0.75” X 2.69” X 0.91,” this versatile little driver ideal for hand held laser systems.

The PLDD-300-1-20 is the first driver of its kind to be made by OptiSwitch--a short pulse, ultra lightweight driver optimized for driving one laser diode bar at high current. This compact driver delivers 300 amps peak current with a minimum pulsewidth of 2 µs, can be operated at up to 20 Hz, and weighs only 12 grams, and measures only 0.75" X 2.69" X 0.35"
