Pulsed Laser Diode DriversOptiSwitch offers high current, low impedance drivers specifically designed for use with ultra-low impedance loads such as laser diode 1D and 2D laser diode arrays. Our user-friendly laser diode drivers are made from all solid-state materials; require no cooling and custom models can reach peak currents of 4 kA with rise times of just a few hundred nanoseconds. Our short-pulse versions can have pulse-widths of 20 ns and rise times of 4 ns with currents reaching 375 amps.  High Voltage SwitchesOptiSwitch is pleased to offer custom high voltage semiconductor switches capable of extremely high currents (100kA) and high voltages (10-20kV). We offer two basic types the light activated semiconductor switch (LASS) and the all new extreme break over diode (XBOD®). |
